Our Family

Laurie Chester

founder

Laurie Chester is a two-time breast cancer survivor & the heart and soul of the Chester Cancer Foundation. To Laurie, everyone is family. Her courage, generosity, and compassion are unmeasurable. Simply to know her is to love her.

Laurie has chosen an exceptional group of people to help build her foundation. Our focus is to ensure no one fights alone. We have all heard the saying “It takes a village” & we want to be that “village” for those battling cancer. Through our fundraising we have been able to make an impact on so many families by helping cover the cost of gas or transportation to & from treatments, copays, medical costs, testing costs, even assisting with the basic needs such as groceries or monthly bills. We have also had the pleasure to contributing to the production of Dignity Robes and providing Comfort Hearts for post-surgery/treatments, and many other donations that meet the needs of cancer patients.
