How it all started
The Chester Cancer Foundation was started by Laurie Chester, a lifelong resident of the Mid Mon Valley and 2-time breast cancer survivor.
Our story
It is through this journey and battle that Laurie experienced first-hand the physical, emotional, & financial devastation a cancer diagnosis can have on an individual and their family. Laurie’s dreams of the foundation stem from her passion to help others through this difficult battle. The money that the foundation raises through donations, events, and ticket sales go directly to aiding and assisting other families who are battling this disease.

Our mission is “Providing support, comfort, and hope to individuals and families facing cancer during their most challenging times.”
